Office girls stretch legs to beat boredom

A group of young women from Moscow has caused a stir by posting a video showing synchronised swimming in their office. It's been watched over a million times in just several weeks.
Despite objections from the their management, the girls decided to submit their video in a contest organised by an advertising agency in Moscow – and won.
“They asked us to invent something on office life as the target audience were office workers. When we received the girls' video, we realised it could win the contest,” recalls Ilya Korneyev, the agency's creative director.
Their long legs and creativity brought them a global audience. They say they never expected such a result, especially when their video started receiving comments from all over the world.
The girls work at an architectural bureau and say their usual work day is quite dull and lacks activity.
Professionals say such activities boost productivity in an office.
“This kind of activity lets employees express themselves better than during routine work. It boosts their motivation and interest both in their work and with each other,” says psychologist Maria Ladionenko.
Even though the girls practised and shot their video during their free time, they still got in trouble with their boss. Nevertheless, they surely improved relations between each other, not to mention shaking off the stress with those long legs.
