Barack Obama has succeeded Vladimir Putin as Time Magazine’s Person of the Year. But will US President-elect be able to outdo the Russian PM in terms of looks? The Drudge Report website has started a shirtless competition to find out.
The first photos of a bare-chested Obama were distributed by Bauer-Griffin, the Hollywood celebrity hunt club, and have instantly become an internet hit.
In contrast, footage of a shirtless Putin was distributed through official sources.
More than 97,000 people have voted so far on whom they like best with their shirt off, Obama or Putin.
And despite being nine years older, the Russian premier has taken a clear lead.
