The fashion and food industries have combined in Moscow to host a memorable chocolate show. Clothes made from chocolate were paraded after designers created ‘sweet clothing’.
The modern world may be obsessed with diets and healthy food but at this event it was chocolate in every direction.
Hundreds of Russian and European chocolatiers gathered under one roof.
Sylvie Douce and her husband organised the first ever Chocolate Show 13 years ago, and now have shows in Paris, New York, Tokyo and Moscow.
“The show in Paris is huge, we have twenty thousand metres of chocolate there. But we hope that the show in Moscow will grow and more visitors will attend it,” Sylvie Douce said.
This is the first time Moscow has seen the artwork of French number one chocolatier Jean-Paul Hevin.
“I'm very pleased that I'm being called the best of French chocolatiers, but I'd like to say that I wouldn't achieve anything if it wasn't for my team. They all help me a lot,” Jean-Paul Hevin said.
The food show runs until December 2 at Moscow’s Gostiniy Dvor offering its visitors new treats every day.
