In a week Moscow will know if it's won the right to host the first ever Olympic Youth Games in 2010. It's between them and Singapore. And so on Valentines Day, the final push for publicity began. Moscow hopes the IOC will fall in love with the bid.

When the two finalists were determined, the Russian capital had a narrow lead over its Asian opponent.

Moscow has held its latest promotional campaign on Valentine's Day at the capitals Luzhniki stadium. The campaign's tagline was: “The future starts here” and students from top universities got together to show their support for the Moscow bid.

Moscow mayor’s office is playing an integral part and has created a programme called Moscow-Fitness. It has already held several youth sporting events including this one which was endorsed by the capital's top universities.

“Our country is very strong and our youth is very healthy and promising. That is why we think that the youth Olympics should be held here. We also want youth all over the world to be healthy and energetic,” Victoria Soboleva, Director of Moscow-Fitness, said.

University students have been preparing for this event for the last two months and the organisers picked out the top talents which will also be performing at the opening ceremony if Moscow wins the bid, like they hope.
