Serving two masters for half a century

The harlequin, Ferruccio Soleri, has been appearing on the stage of Moscow’s Maly Theatre. For almost half a century he has been putting on his black mask and colourful outfit, but says he never tires of the role he has played more than 2,000 times.

“Arlecchino, servant of two masters” is the most celebrated production of the Italian company Piccolo Teatro di Milano. The performance at the Maliy Theatre opens the Golden Mask theatre festival in Moscow.
