Hands-free sets for €120,000, USB flash-drive jewelry, and diamond-studded kitchen-ware are among the must-have items this year, as Millionaire Fair 2010 has opened its door for the Moscow rich.
The major event of the Fair is the world premiere of Benarrow PB5, a sports car based on the Audi A5. Benarrows are produced in small series – no more than 50 autos. The €500,000 car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.6 seconds. Its maximum speed is 300 kilometers per hour.
As a special offer from the organizers of the Fair, the visitors will also have a chance to see the most expensive saucepan in the world. The new Fissler piece of kitchenware is made of gold and studded with 200 diamonds of different sizes. Organizers say it will end up in the Guinness Book of Records.
Among other exhibits are helicopters, yachts, watches, and other typical attributes of the rich.

The Fair’s organizers say that the high spot of the event is Mark Ronson, a Grammy Award winning English DJ, guitarist and music producer, who will perform at the show.
The Fair will last for the whole weekend. On Saturday, there will be a series of events devoted to children. The future millionaires will take part in special activities while their mums are out for expensive shopping sprees. On Sunday, special event for adults only will be on offer.
Sergey Mironov, speaker of the upper house of the Russian Parliament and leader of Fair Russia party, claimed that all the items sold at the Fair must be subject to heavy taxes. He believes that the rich who can afford such spending must support those living below the poverty line.
Mironov even suggested using the catalogues of the Fair to make up the list of the items for taxation.
President’s party United Russia, however, does not hurry to back Mironov’s suggestion. They say the Duma has already considered the draft on the topic and rejected it, saying that this could lead to double taxation, which is not fair.
