The nation’s glitterati have rolled into the Russian capital for three days of luxury and entertainment at the “Millionaire Fair” extravaganza, which kicks off in Moscow on October 23.
Bianca, Your mind is in the gutter. I mean you no disrespect. There are a lot of single women out there, so they go to a fair to meet others of their liking. RT is probably trying to help them out, so they'll have good lives. I think they have a more traditional culture, so that idea isn't bad like it is in some other places. I always get accused of thinking I'm too good when I won't date someone, which is ridiculous. I don't like guys or girls, but if I did and was somewhat attractive and normal, I would do the samething. Don't listen to what they say. Have a good life.
Not only is the picture disgusting, the whole concept of this show is disgusting. Who wants to see a handful of rich slobs slavering over jewel incrusted watches and gold plated cars when so many are struggling to feed their families in the worst recession since the great depression,
Thanks R John. I am sure that exhibitionism of the wealthy exist in every society, but at least have the common sense to tone it down with so much hardship all around. Especially in a country that has witnessed how some became rich by plundering the public wealth, while others starved. What shocks me is RTVs apparent lack of understanding that such "news" need to be treated in a manner consistent with the overall mission of the media outfit, including Art and Fun forum.
Thanks RT for reporting what is going on. A lot of people may find this in bad taste, but you cannot pick and choose only the things that people like. People have a right to know what the rich people are doing with their winfall, like feeding the poor, paying their fair share of taxes etc.
People have a right to know... Sure, this is why National Inquirer exists. There are so many things we would like to know, and sometimes feel we have "the right". Yet, media is defined by the kind of customers it is trying to attract. And in this case, a little class is in order.

The photo is disgusting. I am sure in some circles it may be "in". But for the majority, this is in poor taste and belongs to the world of freeks. RT needs to be aware of its image. This type of "art" damages the credibility of your institution, as there is a fine line between the "hip" and disgusting.
