An explosion hit a Siberian military facility, killing six on Saturday. However, after two days it is still unclear who owns the test range.
The explosion happened while a truck was taking spent armaments to a disposal site.
Military engineers are now working to defuse numerous live shells that were scattered in the blast.
The families of four employees of the facility who were killed in the explosion will receive compensation of 600,000 rubles (US$20,000). It is still unclear who is going to pay for the other two victims, reportedly officers.
Russia's Ministry of Defence has denied it owns the facility and claimed there were no officers among the victims.
This is the fourth in a recent chain of such incidents: in late June, trucks loaded with shells caught fire and exploded at a military site west of Moscow killing one and injuring 24. In November, two successive incidents at a testing ground in Ulyanovsk region (central Russia) killed 11.
