From weird hats and digression to 15th Century to a live grunge concert – the first day of Russian Fashion week has made an impressive strike on both the public and people of fashion.
The world famous veteran designer Vyatcheslav Zaitsev continued the tendency of strengthening attention on accessories in his latest collection. This summer’s highlights are hats and stockings. Bright red hats by Tatyana Semendyaeva from "Grimuar", remind Roman helmets, and stockings, with the checkered black-and-white patterns supplemented the looks with ballance.
Visible simplicity and lightness is counterbalanced with difficult materials. Norsoyan’s collection proves the idea, that a woman should remain a woman even at war or on the way to her own execution.
Short and narrow female dresses in bright summer colors; stripes and sophisticated ornaments. Lizaveta Pankratova has proved a virtuoso in highlighting woman’s sexuality for next summer in her specific dynamic way.
Supplementing correct forms with pure colors makes the looks very gently. Having combined display with a live rock concert from covers on the checked up hits, Pankratova has made it even more dynamic – it is literally having overcome the bright colors speed of a sound.
Sophisticated forms and solid structures of dresses – that’s what makes the collection by Masha Kravtsova remarkable. This is her fifth collection (first shown in Milan), and has shown the vision of a woman’s dress, allowing to experiments with the look’s geometry.
Corsets with light skirts take us back in time, reminding of the past centuries’ Middle-Ages fashion. Skeletoned dresses are a stage which the majority of designers need to pass, but not all of them actually manage to make those frame dresses touchingly gentle as in Mash Kravtsova’s “Fifth collection” (she traditionally does not give names to her works). Dresses in light beige and milk come together with wooden-heeled shoes.
