if mice are impure as well as swine, then why did Allah create them in the first place?

I guess among those who adhere to "shariah", everything that does not agree with it, is to be banned or destroyed, another reason to keep muslims out of this country, or they either follow our laws, or be deported.

well .. what i just red is totally Wrong, am living in JORDAN (Middle East) which means that i contact with at least 15 - 20 Muslim everyday, i know a lot about Islam & Muslim, & there is a difference between what the Law of Islam said & How Clerics Understand it or want it to be ! i red the Qura'an & Al SHARIAH & there is no close proof about what these two Clerics said, i even have a Close Friend from a Muslim Family, one time his younger brother & sister found a little mouse & they started to feed it (like it's something strange to be there in buildings area ) while their father was watching & Smiling !!!! people ... what we know about islam is not the truth, we have a huge conflict & bad image reflection ... Most of Clerics are UnEducated & keep judge everything, in the other side, most of muslim people are good & have a lot of great Values beside of their high educational level. :)

Im a muslim, so whats wrong with mouse?! i love that smart helpful joyful loving character called mikey mouse, God have created animals and insect to teach us something indeed, read the surah of "ants" in quraan , read about spider and bees and the crow that have teached the son of Adam how to burry the body of his brother. although mickey mouse is just a cartoon character, unless it plays a role in violence or sexual action, in this case only we have to kill it :)

If Muslim clerics are so upset about something from western culture impacting on their people and culture then there is an easy solution: do not partake of said upsetting thing. If the TV is evil then don't own a TV, if books are evil then don't read them etc etc etc. Those same Muslim clerics, however, need to realize that the rest of the world do not follow their teachings, and thus do not fall under their system of laws and punishments. They have no right to call for the death penalty for presenters of astronomy shows, as those presenters are more than likely not followers of the Muslim way. A man should control what goes on in his own home but no man has authority over another man's home!
