One of the most talented choreographers in the world, the guru of dance philosophy Maurice Bejart has celebrated his eightieth anniversary. He is a true patriarch in the world of ballet and is still full of inspiration.
In November of the past year his ballet group performed at Moscow's Tchaikovsky concert hall and the show was dedicated to the maestro's up-coming birthday.Bejart couldn't join the dancers from his multi-national group in the Russian tour, but his ideas were still in the air. The programme featured works based on philosophical and even pedagogical themes, including the dance pieces called “Fathers and Sons” and “The art of being a Grandfather.”
