What make Moscow’s Bentleys and Maseratis make way? There’s just one car of its kind in Russia – a gold-plated Porsche 911.
Photos of this four-wheeled marvel first appeared on the web on a foreign site but a closer look at its licence plates reveals that the Porsche is registered in Moscow.

There are quite a number of cars around the world that are heavily garnished with precious metals, Swarovski crystals or even diamonds. Most of them have been specially produced for car shows and various kinds of special events. These cars shine and glimmer, washed and polished, so that bikini-clad model can pose on top of them for magazines.
These cars are transported from one show to another, wrapped up in all kinds of protective materials – but not in Russia.
In Moscow this gold-plated Porsche 911 was found parked on the street unguarded, clearly the owner has enough money not

What gives this Porsche a particularly Russian look is its wing decorated in the style known as ‘Khokhloma’ – a typically Russian form of adornment.
