Eat to defeat: Russian region to produce locust snacks

A new way to tackle locust invasions has been invented in southern Russia.
The Astrakhan region, southern Russia, is suffering from swarms of locusts and all attempts to fight the insects proved ineffective.
Fortunately, the governor of the region came up with a brilliant idea. He suggested exporting the locusts to Asian countries.
According to the governor, dried, salted and frozen locust-snacks would be a hit in many restaurants around the world, and even in Moscow.
He admits that idea is a bit crazy but notes that many of the best ideas look crazy at first.
