Ukrainian heavyweights Vitaly and Wladimir Klitshcko have announced they're aiming for further successes in the ring and their sights are firmly set on Russia's champions in the sport.

Former WBC champion Vitaly Klitschko announced at a conference in Moscow that he's now fully recovered from a knee injury which forced him to retire last year.

Dr. Iron Fist is now aiming to regain his crown and has already requested a bout with holder Russian Aleg Maskaev. A decision on that is due within the next couple of weeks.

“I think the next fight will be soon. We make right now the negotiations with American Russian Aleg Maskaev. I hope the fight will be in the next couple of months. And I hope the fight will be in Moscow,” said  Vitaly Klitshcko.

Current IBF and IBO champ Wladimir, fresh from a second round defeat of Ray Austin on Saturday, is also seeking Moscow as a fight destination.
Dr. Steelhammer, who is long term quest to become undisputed world champion has been thwarted by promotional red tape, says a meeting with WBA title holder Nikolay Valuev could set him well on his way.

“Nikolay Valuev stays before he can break the record of Rocky Marchiano. He has to win, I believe, 30 fights to break the record and to be 49 fights undefeated and as a champion. I think it will be a grate chance to catch Nikolay for the fight before he will break the record,” said  Wladimir Klitshcko.
