A German World War II boat loaded with over 10,000 explosive weapons has been found off the coast of Kaliningrad.
The ship, which sank just two kilometers off the coast, is so crammed with bombs that officials say they will need at least three years to make the wreck and its cargo safe. First, though, they will need a fortnight to get ready for the complicated operation.
Teams in the region are quite experienced in this kind of work though: last year, they deactivated over a hundred sea mines.
