A Turkish expat in Russia says he has been robbed of a million rubles in cash - and 40 million rubles worth of jewelry.

The incident allegedly took place at St. Petersburg's Pulkovo airport. The man says he realized what had happened after going through security.

He was representing a Turkish jeweler's Moscow bureau at an international expo in St. Petersburg.

Another event participant was robbed a day earlier, as he boarded the high-speed Sapsan train. He was carrying a suitcase containing gold and silver items worth over two-million rubles.
