Grammy award winner and Jazz legend, Ernie Watts, has wowed fans in Moscow as part of the city’s 5th International Jazz Festival. Watts performed his latest hits at Moscow’s Union of Composers club.
“Analog Man”, recorded with his European quartet, is his latest release.
“I’m an analog man in a digital word,” says Ernie Watts about himself. The musician says he doesn’t own a computer and doesn’t do e-mails.
Ironically, Watts features in the Windows XP edition Jazz preview, with the song “Highway Blues”.
Over his career he worked with Charlie Haden's Quartet West, featured Frank Zappa, toured with Rolling Stones and has won a Grammy Award as an instrumentalist.
