Victoria Laufer, from the Modus Vivendis agency in Moscow, spoke to Russia Today about the charity work of fashion stars.

Russia Today: As we know Natalya Vodianova, the richest Russian model, is very involved in charity work. Is this something common within models?

Victoria Laufer: Well, it is pretty common, you know, it is not usually happening every day but a lot of models do a lot of charity, of course.

RT: Will you be involved in charity in the future?

V.L.: For sure.

RT: As far as your career as model, you have made it big and so has Natalia Vodianova and after her example a lot of Russian girls are trying to succeed on the international arena now. Unfortunately very few have reached the level of success that she has or you on your way to. What do you think are the criteria apart from beauty that could lead to success or vice versa?

V.L.: I do not agree that there are only a few Russian models. If you take the famous show there is 60% Russian but they are not known in Russia and that is really pity. They are more known in New York and Europe but not in Russia.

RT: If you have an advice to give to Russian girls who are trying to make it in the modeling world, what would you say what is the important thing to have in order to succeed?

V.L.: I think that if you really want to do it – you will, you know, it takes time because all the girls are beautiful, it takes time, you have to fight for it, work for it, it is like any job. To succeed you really have to be into this job.
