Life can be tough for a humble pine-cone gatherer, but rarely do they come face-to-face with a feared terrorist. A group of gatherers in Russia's Far East have been held hostage by a somewhat unusual terrorist – an Amur tiger!
When the group tried to leave a cabin in the Primorye region the tiger growled and clawed at the door.
The animal eventually ran away when a vehicle came to pick up those stranded.
Wildlife services believe the tiger may have been wounded, which caused its behaviour.
