Einsturzende Neubauten
Metallic and romantic, poetic and sexy, surreal and real — the fathers of industrial music from the German apocalyptic band Einsturzende Neubauten, Alexander Hacke and F.M.Enheit, are coming to the Russian capital.
Multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Hacke and percussionist Enheit (who left the band 15 years ago) will be mesmerizing their Moscow fans at the Ikra Club on Friday.

The band Einsturzende Neubauten itself is one of the few bands to declare that “silence is sexy”, and so can in fact be solitude, which “the futurists” can turn into pure art, reminding you of Jim Jarmusch's stylish “Coffee and Cigarettes.”
The German band has come a long way from its punk-rock “Collapse”(in which they expertly used metal plates to gain the sought-after, trademark cutting-edge sound) to even more hypnotizing “Perpetuum Mobile,” but their music can still give you a decent headache.
Perhaps, that's what you pay for inspiration, originality and freedom that lasts if only for a couple of minutes.
Some say their signature style is infectious to the point where it makes you want to learn German.
Others strongly believe that if their songs don't get to you, nothing else will – or you simply have no soul…
A few of their videos, like “Blume,” have a David Lynch-esque, "Twin Peaks" feel; others, like “The Garden,” is simply arresting, forcing you to watch it over and over again, making it one of your daily visual and sonic obsessions.
