Russian Football chief Vitaly Mutko has dismissed speculation linking Guus Hiddink with a move to Chelsea. Hiddink has guided Russia to second in their Euro 2008 qualification group.
The English press is full of stories that Jose Mourinho is about to walk out on the Premiership Champions and Roman Abramovich could swoop for the Russian National coach. Same happened to Russian mass media. Mutko said there was nothing to comment on and there is no reason to halt the contract. Although he thinks that Hiddinkâs comments could have been mis-interpreted. Before, Hiddink reportedly claimed that he was poised to handover to assistant Alexander Bordyduk.
