The Bolshoi Theatre opens its season tonight with one of the most popular Russian operas, “Boris Godunov”, brought together by one of the country’s most revered blue-chip filmmakers, Aleksander Sokurov.
Winner of numerous international awards, the Siberian-born director has made a name for himself as a quintessential Russian filmmaker.
