If you ever went to the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, you would see a vibrant display of community spirit, in which a huge cross-section of the community come together to have a great time and support members of that community who are still often marginalised. There are a few buttocks on display, and the occasional breast in pride parades, but if you are so against them, don't go, and don't let your children go. I'm straight and I'm proud to be friends with homosexuals, and the brother of one. They're a lot more fun to be around than religious zealots, and I have no doubt they, in general, have more compassion and civic spirit as well. Who are you to impose your values on others?
