Experimental theatre comes to Moscow

Swiss director Denis Maillefer has staged his experimental play entitled “I brought you a disk” at one of Moscow's theatres. The production involves both Russian and Swiss actors.

There were no rehearsals before the Russian premiere and there are no props on the stage as well. The six actors, three of whom are French speaking and the other three are Russian, don't have any special costumes. They appear during the performance looking like they just came in from the street.

At the end of each monologue the actors load the disks with their favourite music which often tells more about each person, than the words can do.

The premiere takes place during the French Art Festival.
