German performer Lena has won the ears and hearts of Europe with her song "Satellite," stealing most of the votes and beating 24 other finalists at the Eurovision song contest final in the Norwegian capital of Oslo.
I'll never understand why Turkey and Israel participate in Eurovisión.
Politico-vision, that is what they should name this musical circus. There were a lot of good talents with vocals and so forth, but this whole organization of Eurovision is a joke. And yes, why is Middle Eastern nations in Eurovision? Since it is an obvious political fiasco, did Germany win because they're seen as the bank of Europe? Lena wasn't bad singer though...
"Middle Eastern" nations are allowed to take part as membership of the EBU is what allows entry, not geographical precision. Morocco, Lebanon and Tunisia have all participated in the past. The Norwegians didn't look under too much pressure too me. The show was presented with a nice touch of humour and self-deprecation, something a lot of other countries could learn from ...
Because all songs of this "vision" were crap, I think she was the right winner.. But dont forget - her father i a bilderberger !

I'm very glad Lena won for Germany, and for Hannover, my City - the Capital of Lower Saxonia
