Dynamo Moscow have won through to the last eight of the Euroleague Basketball, by beating Bennetton Treviso 68-65 in overtime at a packed Krilatskoye Arena. It will be Dynamo Moscow's first quarter-finals appearance.

The first quarter was a scrappy affair with both sides conceding a number of turnovers, as the tension of the occasion seemed to get to them.

But it was the visitors who were first to settle. Dynamo were all at sea and the Italian side forged ahead, when Preston Shumpert netted a three pointer. At half time, Bennetton had a 35 points to 23 lead.

Dusan Ivkovic's side were transformed going into the third quarter. They went on a 13 point run, to go ahead, helped by Antonis Fortis's three-pointer as Bennetton had no answer to Dynamo's solid defence. But the Italian side did manage to get themselves back in the game – and they went into the final quarter level pegging at 43 all.

The fourth was always going to be a tense affair. Both teams had chances to take the game by the scruff of the neck, but somehow, managed to let the opposition back in. With just seconds remaining, Bojan Popovic could have won it for the Muscovites but his shot sailed wide – sending the match into overtime.

Dynamo were not to be denied though. Dmitry Domani scored from the field, to put Dynamo 3 up, a lead that they held onto.
