Denmark's Anders Hansen and Frenchman Christian Cevaer battled against strong winds on Thursday to finish the day joint top of the leader board at the Dutch Open.

The two both shot six-under-par rounds of 65 at the Kennemer Golf and Country Club in Zandvoort.

Cevaer played a near faultless round with six birdies, including one on the fifth following an excellent approach shot. It matched the standard set by Anders Hansen. He sank an eagle putt at the par-five seconds before carding five birdies to make his 65. Austrian Markus Brier shares third place with Britain's Robert Rock, one shot back on five under.
