Russian officials solve the mystery of dancing bridge

The country’s Audit Chamber has shed light on the nature of the “dancing” bridge in Central Russia.
Taking the Tacoma Narrows Suspension Bridge collapse as an example, the nonlinear behaviour of the bridge is caused by the wind and other forces. Numerical simulation and modeling will show the way to possible solutions. It will eventually collapse if the design of the bridge is not corrected. All of the best. Danie V.
