Moscow's Kremlin is no doubt the most frequently visited tourist attraction, but this winter it's also a must visit for music lovers as the “Christmas in the Kremlin” music festival is still underway.

Each concert within the festival highlights different foreign musicians especially invited to participate at the event.

The tradition of having the festival dates back to 1996 when the festival's founder, conductor Misha Rakhlevsky, decided to tie up the series of concerts with the New Year and Christmas festivities.

This time Petr Nouzovsky, a young but already well-known cello player from the Czech Republic, has visited the Russian capital. Despite his young age Petr Nouzovsky has a repertoire of an impressive width which includes, apart from the classical cello literature, contemporary pieces. The concert programme comprises pieces of Czech composers and the artist's favourite composition – Haydn's cello concerto.
