Legend of the rap and hip-hop scene and frontman of Cypress Hill ‘B-Real’ comes to Moscow as part of his world tour. His first and the only concert will take place on Wednesday in Milk Moscow club.
Cypress Hill are one of the most influential groups in the hip-hop world. From South Gate, California they were among a handful of true pioneers of the 1980s musical movement. These hip-hop gurus were the first to combine Latin music with hip-hop giving them a unique sound in the genre.
The first Latin-American group to have platinum and multi-platinum albums has over the years sold more than 20 million albums worldwide. Their concerts reliably selling out worldwide.
B-Real is undoubtedly one of the most remembered and recognizable voices in modern rap music. He worked with giants of the musical industry, such as Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Method Man, Dr Dre and many others. In 1996 the great MC created Psycho Realm, continuing to work with Cypress Hill.
Whoever he worked with, B-Real always stayed faithful to his Mexican-Cuban roots, reading the lyrics in both Spanish and English. His lyrics often point to political issues: effortlessly combining the issues of the street with those of a universal nature.
Moscow’s younger generations formed new artistic tastes, identities and subcultures in the late nineties. A this time Cypress Hill attracted a large youth following comparable to that of Nirvana.
Now that the Cypress Hill front man comes to Moscow, the tickets are almost sold out. B-Real will present Cypress Hill hits along with his latest “Smoke N Mirrors” album, the first solo album of the rapper. The concert, organized by Zumarock Entertainment, will take place in Milk Moscow club on August 25.
