The Circus is one of the oldest forms of art in China. Its acrobatic troupe is named after the Province they came from. The troupe is made up of masterly acrobatic performers.

Many of them have received awards for their acrobatic skills. The circus itself won the Golden prize at the international acrobatic festival in France in 2004 and two more prestigious acrobatic prizes in Italy in 2005.

The organizer of the event is The Maris Liepa Charitable Foundation. The charity's main aim is to promote the Development of Ballet and choreography.

The performance is hosted by one of Moscow's most beautiful halls, the Manege and will go on until the end of the school holidays in Russia on the 10th of January.
