The creators of the Dsquared label, brothers Dean and Dan Caten, have unveiled their latest collection of clothes in Moscow. Although the show lasted only twenty minutes, it was long enough for the Caten brothers to win the hearts of Moscow fashion fans.

Conservative but sexy; appealing, but modest; strict, but with a touch of irony – the Canadian brothers’ urban outfits provoke a double dose of excitement in the souls of Moscow’s city-dwelling fashionistas.

While instructing the models during rehearsals, Dean and Dan Caten show that a special chemistry exists between them, which filters through to the creative process and makes the finished product twice as captivating.

“Yes, chemistry is there. We're a two-headed monster with four legs,” Dan said. “It's great to see your public. It's a great opportunity for us to get back here and meet the consumers. We love it.”

One of the top labels in world fashion, Dsquared made its debut in the early nineties in Milan. The twins moved to the Italian trendsetting city from their native Canada with a dream of becoming clothing designers.

“We knew we wanted to be fashion designers, but we didn't know how to do it; it's like a dream job. Little by little you get the pieces together, and you climb and you climb and you get where you need to be,” Dan Caten said.

It’s only the second time the Caten brothers have been to Moscow. But they are likely to visit more often from now on, as they are planning to open a Dsquared flagship store in the Russian capital this year.
