World-famous musicians from Oasis, Noel Gallagher and Gem Archer, have given a concert in Moscow. Their first ever performance in Russia gathered thousands of devout fans at one of Moscow's clubs.
The concert attracted not only Russians but also a number of expats. The author of most Oasis' songs, Noel didn't take his brother Liam, the main vocalist of the band with him, but it didn't spoil the night.Oasis has never performed in Moscow before, but it didn't dampen their popularity in Russia. Muscovites have been waiting for this gig since the British band topped the world charts in 1995 with their single “Some might say”.The musicians decided not to give a stadium show but to present the whole set of the classical Oasis tracks in a much more intimate atmosphere.Though there have been lots of rumours that the band is about to split up over the last years, the leaders of the Britpop movement are on track and proved that people in Moscow still adore them.
