British boy crosses the Atlantic

A 14-year-old, Mike Perham, from Britain has become the youngest person to sail the Atlantic single-handed. He broke the previous record held by another Brit, Sebastian Clover, who was 15 when he sailed from the Canary Islands to Antigua three years
The boy, who was followed by his father in another boat, set sail from Gibraltar on November 18. He spent six weeks at sea with just a couple of stops for repairs, until finally reaching the Caribbean island of Antigua.Perham had been sailing since he was six.
