Wladimir Klitschko claims he's the favourite going into his heavyweight championship unification fight with WBO Champion Sultan Ibragimov.
New York’s Madison Square Guarden will host the first heavyweight unification bout in nine years on February 23.
IBF and IBO Heavyweight Champion Ukraine’s Wladimir Klitschko will face WBO Champion Sultan Ibragimov from Russia.
Ibragimov says he's very pleased that the fight will take place.
“It's been a very long road for me to become champion and my first aim after becoming one was to get a unification fight. I think only one champion should exist. You know, it's strange to have four or five heavyweight champions,” Ibragimov said.
The IBF champion told RT he's ready to take down the Russian.
“I don’t want to underestimate Ibragimov but I also have no inclination to overestimate him,” Klitschko stated.
