If you are wondering why there are no blondes in the capital’s streets today, worry not. As it so happens, a large number of fair-haired female Muscovites have left the capital for Sochi.
Several hundred blondes went there to attend the opening of a museum dedicated to golden tresses and the unveiling of a monument to blondes.
After the ceremonies, the fair-haired ladies played a game called "Blondes vs. the World." This consisted of a hundred rounds of Tic-tac-toe. The organizers hope the event will go down in the Guinness Book of World Records.
The girls also took part in numerous master classes on clothes, makeup and photography.
The festivities ended with a musical competition called “Blonde Party,” in which more than 150 blonde actresses and singers entertained festival guests.
The organizers say that the blonde movement is likely to develop. For example, the city is going to build “the first-ever restaurant for blondes.”
There was also a bit of controversy at the festival, with some media reports suggesting that the participants had to fill in forms asking, among other things, if the girls would like to become members of the Popular Front.
