Yury Krzhanovsky was a brilliant follower of Russian avant-garde artist Pavel Filonov. But he gave up his brushes after his teacher had become a social outcast for the Soviet government.
A talented sound imitator, Krzhanovsky chose voice as his working instrument. He voiced dozens of cartoons and films for children.
