Policeman killed in attack in Ingushetia

One person has been reported killed and four injured in an attack on a Russian military police transport vehicle in the southern Russian republic of Ingushetia.

According to a source in the local police department, the vehicle was on a country road when it was attacked by unknown men using a grenade launcher.

It is reported that the dead police officer had recently been sent to Ingushetia from another Russian region.

The injured men were taken to a military hospital in Vladikavkaz. Medics say they are in a severe condition.
