Paris Court postpones decision on extradition of Georgia's 'rebel minister'
Published 27 Feb, 2008 19:57 | Updated 27 Feb, 2008 22:57The hearing of the case of former Georgian Defence Minister Irakly Okruashvili has been adjourned. The Paris Court postponed the ex-minister's extradition to Tbilisi until April 16.
Okruashvili faces charges in Georgia including bribery and abuse of office but still hopes to run as a parliamentary election candidate later this year.
He was taken into custody last September after he accused the country's President Mikhail Saakashvili of violating human rights.
