Speaking out against the Ukrainian authorities can be a life-threatening business. That is the view of a television crew of the country's leading opposition TV network.

Herewith the mother-lobsters-bite ( they arrived in the post, today), in a summary of events so far. Why if the truth is known do we speak from behind veils? Just ask any ragged hippie what they've heard about Summeria, the Iraq's Mesopotamian Antiquities, etc.

At least the man wasn't killed. Some Russian opposition journalists haven't been so lucky. Irregardless of such comparisons, what happened to this man was horrible. I am not sure the best replacement for the present Ukrainian government however is one led by a man convicted of cheating in an election by the country's supreme court. Preferably, Ukraine would go in a new direction, one which is not anti-Russian, led by someone without such a grotesque stain on his record.
