Novice driver kills two pedestrians

Disturbing footage of a horrific car crash in the Siberian city of Irkutsk.

The driver reportedly confused the gas and break pedals before jumping over the curb and hitting two female victims.

The driver herself appeared unhurt and left the car to make a phone call, although ambulances had already been called by other witnesses.

There has been criticism that she appeared to not help the two pedestrians she hit. The 25-year-old driver is the daughter of the chairman of the local election commission and is reportedly an inexperienced driver.
