The legendary art of the Ninja, which originated in medieval Japan, is being revived in Russia. For more than 15 years, a Ninja school in Moscow has been keeping the ancient culture alive.

Wow I thought it's going to be a lot like those "McDojos" in the US where they teach fake ninjutsu and you see lots of wannabe ninjas with questionable physical capabilities hiding behind the "mystique" of the "legendary ninjas", but at least this Russian ninjutsu school actually bothered to learn how ninjutsu was supposed to be in a practical self-defense/killing manner, not the "mystical secrets of the east" the US McDojos had beeng going for. The use of makeshift everyday items as weapons, shuriken throwing, blowpipe poison darts, attacking from unusual positions, athleticism, accurate sword swiping... although they should know that ninjas didn't really wear black back in the day, it was more greyish blue since that blends better in the background (and anyone wearing black actually stands out more).
