"gave a Hitler salute in front of a former gas chamber at the site of the Mauthausen camp, where more than 120,000 prisoners were gassed, worked to death or starved during the World War Two." I don't really understand these guys: do they deny or do they praise the gassing of inmates?

Zuroff reportedly said, “You have people who are trying to deny that those events took place. You have people, especially in Eastern Europe, who are trying to distort the memory of the Holocaust, saying that communism is the same as Nazism in order to cover up their own crimes, and the like. So these are the dangers we have to fight against,” While I will not speak for half a continent, I very emphatically state the following in regard to Estonia: (1) Estonia does not deny any historic event in its past. No one has ever presented a single fact of history involving Estonia that Estonia has denied. If someone thinks otherwise, they should present verifiable evidence rather than make aiary accusations. (2) Estonia is not trying to distort the memory of the Holocaust. It commemorates Holocaust Day annually, normally by having the highest leaders of the land attend ceremonies of remembrance with Estonia’s Jewish community. It is yet to see any Russian leader participate in any ceremony commemorating Soviet Russia's Baltic victims. (3) Those thousands upon thousands of Estonians who were murdered and enslaved by Nazis and by Soviets noticed absolutely no difference whatsoever between Nazism and Communism. One totalitarian monstrosity savaged innocent people for reasons of racial dogma, the other for reasons of class dogma. The thousands of victims of each were just as dead. (4) Estonians who correctly equate Nazism with Communism are not trying to cover up any crimes. But Russia, which objects to the comparison, is trying to cover up Communist crimes. Why Zuroff, who styles himself as a hero of justice, turns not one but two blind eyes to the crimes of Communists, including their crimes against Jewish people, is something that only Zuroff can answer.

They seem to be troubled and emotionally outraged about something that is natural: people having their own opinion about history and politics. "Study" and "facs" should have ment just that, this guy has an agenda and that is to prioritize one group above all others and turn a blind eye to everything that does not fit his view of the world.
