The Red Square is ringing to the beat of marching bands from around the world, all taking part in the International Military Tattoo.

The opening was held within the framework of Moscow City Day, in accordance with tradition.

The Daily Festival audience in Red Square alone is expected to be over 7,000 people, and the audience for the entire festival is estimated to top 35,000 people.

The International Military Music Festival “Spasskaya Tower” is to take place in Red Square through September 9.
