Two Russian military commanders may lose their jobs for failing to quickly stop a massive brawl among soldiers.
Congratulations! The best way to hear glasnost is to admit disciplinary silence.
When will Russia finally end this hooliganism in armed forces ranks. They better save their energy for their real enemies such as NATO which would like to do to Russia what they did to the former federal republic of Yugoslavia, once proud and independent nation now under NATO domination and devastation.

This was most likely a fight between Russians and soldiers of other ethnicities. These inter-ethnic fights are quite common in the Russian society (e.g. in metro stations, bazaars, etc.) and as well as in the military - though not on such a public venue. No such fights have ever taken place in the Estonian military where Estonian and Russian boys serve side by side with mutual respect and camaraderie.
