Israel, right from the start of it's founding has a history of taking what does not belong to them. Does anyone expect them to be fair now - with what is really Palestinian oil. They dispossessed a whole people and will do it again with the US backing (the USA that went to Iraq for the oil, not for the dates or bring freedom and democracy).

It's Israel's resources, so what's the problem? Cyprus also found oil & gas & Turkey has a problem. Does all oil & gas belong to Islam? Get a life!

"lovely, just what the greedy jews love " Sure, because only Jews would ever drill for natural gas; try to sell it for filthy disgusting money; and defend the claims they staked. Arabs would never ever try to sell oil for MONEY. And I'm sure if your boss stopped paying you, you would keep coming to work anyway unlike some greedy Jew. "Israel, right from the start of it's founding has a history of taking what does not belong to them" Ummm, should the entire area be given back to the Turks? The Romans?

Do you remember how Joseph forgave his brothers. So will Jesus when he returns. And if I will that they prosper until I return, what is that to you. -Oasis

"And it may take years to prove that Israel’s fields extend into Lebanese territory." It won't take years because the fields do not extend into Lebanese territory. It's not that hard to look at a damn map.

Good news for Israel! I hope it makes them even stronger and more self sufficient, and I hope the American contractor, Nobel Energy, makes a ton of money. Some of the hate-filled, grotesqe anti-Semitic comments here are a reflection of the insanity that Israel has to deal with. With a GDP larger than all of its neighborhood, Israel has evolved into an economic and technological powerhouse, from nothing. A real shining city on a hill. An inspiration to all good people.

Well, this is another part of the prophecy spoken of in Ezekiel 38: "This is another message that came to me from the Lord: “Son of man, turn and face Gog of the land of Magog, the prince who rules over the nations of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him. Give him this message from the Sovereign Lord: Gog, I am your enemy! I will turn you around and put hooks in your jaws to lead you out with your whole army—your horses and charioteers in full armor and a great horde armed with shields and swords. Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya[a] will join you, too, with all their weapons. Gomer and all its armies will also join you, along with the armies of Beth-togarmah from the distant north, and many others." (NLT). What other item, besides oil, would pull other countires from around the world to invade Israel? I'm sure it is part of God's plan. Just a thought.
