A new luxury Mercedes, yet to be launched, has already suffered its first road accident in Moscow.
The SLS Gullwing crashed into another car head-on. It's still a mystery why, because witnesses say the road was fairly clear at the time of the accident.
Police say the car was being driven by a young woman when the accident occurred. However, the car is going nowhere now because it has been written off by insurance companies.
The new Mercedes will cost about 180 thousand euros when it is introduced in Europe later this year.
It's not scheduled to be sold in America until 2011.

See that target crosshairs sight on the front of the Mercedes really works, even this young lady, in a largely empty road, was able to accurately ram another vehicle. Even when moving at high speed. That's superb German engineering. I suppose she can now move on to people, a little bit more tricky, but at least if she misses them a little, she can still open the Gull doors, just to guarantee the hit, and watch them fly away. She seems the perfect candidate to launch this and other things in Europe! But watch out! - Night sights for Mercedes, now theres a thought!

That is a weird skid mark pattern.
