You might want to have more than two political parties, because over here in America, with only two parties, when the Wall Street banksters say 'jump' both of them ask, 'How high'? And the two parties have structured the political system to make starting a viable third party nearly impossible.

Politics is a nasty business. Both American ruling parties always jump through the hoop for the billionaires who own the news media and own most American high level office holders. Most Americans just accept the fact that they are totally powerless and controlled by a corrupt political system owned by special interest rich people. The office holders are shameful and a disgrace to America and the world. They should all resign in disgrace.

Putin/Medvedev:-Urgent, Israeli system [used in Russia] is based on a computerized algorithm, and is fed passenger information from the airline company. The system was offered to the Israel Airports Authority and the Shin Bet in the past, but rejected. According to company's Web site, most of the large airlines in the United States use the system.--The company prides itself on employing 1,300 persons and providing security services to airports in 11 countries including France, Britain, Spain, Hungary, Romania and Russia.Last update-15:10 10/01/2010-Israeli firm blasted for letting would-be plane bomber slip through-By Yossi Melman, Haaretz Correspondent-Israeli firm ICTS International (not to be confused with ICTS Europe, which is a different company), and two of its subsidiaries are at the crux of an international investigation in recent days, as experts try to pinpoint the reasons for the security failure that enabled Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab to board Northwest flight 253 and attempt to set alight explosives hidden in his underwear.A Haaretz investigation has learned that the security officers and their supervisor should have suspected the passenger, even without having early intelligence available to them-At this time, ICTS and the Dutch security firm G4S are hurling recriminations at each other, as are the authorities at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam,Federal Aviation Authority-U.S. intelligence officials. The failure was a twin flop: An intelligence failure, which U.S.President Barack Obama has already stated, in the poor handling of information that arrived at the State Department and probably also the CIA from both the father of the would-be bomber and the British security service; and a failure within the security system, including that of the Israeli firm ICTS-The ICTS daughter company, I-SEC, has another daughter company called PI (Pro-Check International).-failed-I-SEC- PI allowed him to get on the flight http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1141434.html

1. I’d like to make a general opinion on this comment for what it is worth (It may be worth nothing) “Looking back at the last 150 or say even 200 years of our history, it is unlikely that any other nation has faced such challenges. For example, the loss of our best people through wars and numerous social experiments. Indeed, one may well think that our strength has been undermined; that the nation doesn’t have the same will or resources to move forward. How would you reply to this question?” I’d like to tie it into some of the comments I have read recently by Vladimir Yakunin president of Russian Railways. He said of the British railway system: “The privatisation of British railways is the text book story of what was wrong with how to privatise, but it gave us a lot of knowledge of how to cope with the challenges.” He also spoke about the balance that had to be struck between Private enterprise and government. Here is my two cents worth: In my opinion no infrastructural national entity should be ‘owned’ it should one of the primary objectives of government to ‘direct’ market efficiency towards the betterment of the people. An ultra simple example of this pattern would be for example a line of track or infrastructure that stretched from A to B.

2. Now the government ‘administers’ the infrastructure and sets a flat or variable fee for service of the infrastructure , then, opens up the market to any service provider ( I mean profitable services run on the Track) small or large. The variable fee would be based on usage so as to ensure small competitors into the market. Then the capital investment from the service fee would be pooled then issued as a contract to competing companies for the management of the Service to the infrastructure. Here is a simple example of what has never happened in most ‘privatisations’ there is a simple and obvious reason as well, see how many time the word competition occurred in the above text? Large monopolies that ‘administer’ our governments don’t like that sort of efficiency. Now what I have mentioned there is nothing revolutionary or extra smart, it is just the basics of an actual government directing the market efficiency to create competition and help the market and the society. I’d like to come back to the first quote the quote about 150 or 200 years of Russian history, I wonder if the Russian leadership understands that it is the unique and special form of government that they have, which is the direct result of the history, that makes this country, The Russian Federation one of the only countries in the world able to apply that simple equation above. The simplicity of the directed market, and all the other problems they need to be worked on but if these patterns and systems are applied Russia will be a world leader. So isn’t the world a strange place?
