Mass milk poisoning in Southern Russia

At least 296 people, most of them children, have been affected by dysentery in the Stavropol Region of Russia.

Fifty-six people, 53 of them infants, are now in hospital in the city of Georgievsk.

A criminal investigation into the case found low-quality milk products, or contaminated water, may have sparked the disease.
