In August–October 1942, police battalions formed from Lithuanians were in Ukraine: 3rd in Molodechno the 4th in Donetsk, 7th in Vinnitsa,  11th in Korosten, 16th in Dnepropetrovsk 254th in Poltava and the 255th in Belarus. One of the battalions was also used to put down Warsaw Uprising in 1943.
